It sure has been the year for it.  These are the many ways a decent reborn artist can suffer -

• I have had people use my photos and claim they can make the doll the same way.
• I have had people use my photos, take customers money and not send their customer the doll.
• I have had people who are clearly not any better publically and intentionally put down my work to make themselves look better.
• I have had far too many disguising their true intentions in order to get what they want out of me.
• I have had people using the link to my YouTube accounts to drive traffic to their fake websites to make money on advertisements.
• I have had people use my nursery name and even register the name in different countries to remove my listing on international ebay.
• There is more, but I will not name and shame.

All I want to do is make the best baby dolls I can with the time I have, not worry about all this rubbish.   I know I am not alone and that many others have had the same kinds of challenges. Sadly, these problems dig into ones time and motivation.

I choose to take a different direction next year, one with less worry.  Will still make dolls but mostly custom orders for the wonderful people who have followed my work and enjoyed the quality and detail that I deliver.
